Northern Lehigh School Board, on a 5-0 vote, with directors Mathias Green and Robert Kern absent, approved the following personnel moves on Monday:

• The resignations of Kathy Showak, high school paraprofessional, effective Jan. 21; Andrea Sicora, paraprofessional, Slatington Elementary School, effective Dec. 13, 2019; Susan Yesik, Peters Elementary cafeteria monitor, effective Nov. 20, 2019.

• Rescinded the appointment of Anthony Staivecki from his position as high school cafeteria/hall monitor.

• Mariel Cordero-Ledesma, high school Spanish teacher, replacing an employee on medical leave of absence, at the Substitute Teacher Rate Days 1-30; Day 31 and beyond $49,750 prorated, effective Dec. 16, 2019, with a termination date the end of the 2019-2020 school year.

• Kristin Garrison, Peters Elementary School cafeteria monitor, $11.48 an hour, effective Jan. 6.

• Jessica Ortiz, Slatington Elementary School paraprofessional, $12.58 an hour, effective Jan. 21.

• Nicole Scott, Slatington Elementary School paraprofessional, $12.58 an hour, effective Jan. 21.

• Julianne Staskowski, high school cafeteria/hall monitor, $11.48 per hour, effective Jan. 14.

• Bus drivers Marie Christen, Patricia Keith, William Larrison, Marian May, and Amy Shrout from Brandywine Transportation to transport Northern Lehigh School District students for the 2019-2020 school year.

• Valarie Marks as districtwide permanent substitute teacher, 2019-2020 school year, at the daily per diem rate of $120 with district health benefits according to the Affordable Care Act regulations with co-payment amounts equivalent to that of district personnel.

• Professional employee status for Taylor Urban, who has satisfactorily completed three years of service to the school district.

• Dawn Tulio, substitute secretary, 2019-2020 school year, at the 2019-2020 substitute rates as approved on the Supplemental Personnel Salary Schedule.
