Summit Hill driver facing charges

A Summit Hill driver is facing charges following an incident on Feb. 5.

Summit Hill police reported at 12:48 a.m. they were dispatched to the area of 127 N. Chestnut St. for a black Ford Mustang with a loud exhaust traveling around the area and creating a disturbance.

Officers spotted a Ford Mustang at the intersection of North Chestnut and White streets. The officers also heard a loud exhaust and also observed the back windshield was completely covered in snow. A traffic stop was conducted.

The driver was identified as Seth Michael Krynock, 22, of 15 W. Hazard St. Police said Krynock was agitated and admitted he did not have a driver’s license. The officers observed that the vehicle did not display a certificate of inspection and the side windows were covered with sun screening material that obstructed clear view inside. Police said Krynock then became more agitated and refused to cooperate by not providing a registration card for the vehicle.

After learning Krynock’s license was under suspension, he was asked to get out of the vehicle. He continued to ignore the police commands but did eventually get out of the vehicle. Krynock was informed of the charges he was facing but continued to be disorderly despite being warned several times. Krynock then began to walk away with a family member to his house but could be heard from a distance away yelling obscenities.

He continued to cause a disturbance and yelled at a neighbor. As a result of the incident, police filed charges of persistent disorderly conduct, driving under suspension - habitual offender, driving without inspection and two counts of windshield obstructions and wipers.
