State police report the following:

• State police at Schuylkill Haven are seeking the owner of two black nylon duffel bags that were found on Sunday along Route 901, a mile south of the intersection with Interstate 81, in Foster Township, Schuylkill County.

The two bags contain various workout drink mixes, clothing and assorted workout items. Anyone wishing to claim these bags can do so by calling 570-754-4600 and providing a description of its contents.

• A Schuylkill County woman was arrested for attempting to shoplift over $300 worth of merchandise from a county department store.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said Heather Wingle, 38, of Pottsville entered Boscov’s Department Store in the Fairlane Village Mall, Norwegian Township, at 1:09 p.m. on Feb. 9 and attempted to steal $386 worth of merchandise from the store. The merchandise taken included clothing and home good items.

She was charged with retail theft.
