Road work April 1-5

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announces the following road work for this week, weather permitting:

Carbon County

• Palmerton and Lower Towamensing: Delaware Avenue/Little Gap Road between Route 248 and Monroe County line, daytime lane restriction with flagging, Tuesday through Friday.

• Lehighton and Mahoning: Route 902/9th St. and Mahoning Drive between Mill Road and Route 443, daytime lane restriction, Monday through Wednesday.

• Mahoning: Country Club Road between Route 443 and Route 902, daytime lane restriction, Thursday.

•Mahoning: Mill Road between Route 443 and Route 902, daytime lane restriction with flagging, Friday.

• Packer: Quakake Road between Schuylkill County line and Route 93, daytime lane restriction with flagging, Monday through Friday.

• Palmerton and Bowmanstown: Route 248 POW/MIA Highway between Route 209 and Northampton County Line, lane restriction in both directions, Monday through Friday.

• Interstate 80 between Luzerne County Line and Monroe County Line, long term lane restriction beginning April 8

Lehigh County

• Upper and Lower Macungie twps.: Route 222 between I-78 and Route 100, daytime intermittent lane restriction beginning April 3.

• Upper Saucon: I-78 east/west between Berks County Line and Northampton County Line, sporadic lane closure, Monday through Friday.

• Lynn Township: Route 309 between Schuylkill County Line and Mountain Road, daytime lane restriction southbound, Monday through Wednesday.

Monroe County

• Route 33 between Bartonsville and Northampton County Line, nighttime lane restriction, Wednesday through Friday.

• Hamilton Township: Route 209 between Route 33 and Business Route 209, daytime lane restriction, Tuesday.

• Pocono Township: I-80 east between exit 299 (Route 715) and exit 302A (Route 33 to Route 209), daytime lane restriction, Wednesday.

Northampton County

• East Allen Township: Route 987/Airport Road between Schoenersville Road and Nor Bath Highway, daytime lane restriction, Monday through Friday.

• Williams Township: I-78 east between exit 71 (Route 33) and exit 75 (to Route 611), daytime eastbound lane restriction, Monday.

• Williams Township: I-78 west between exit 75 (to Route 611) and exit 71 (Route 33), daytime westbound lane restriction, Tuesday.

• Lower Saucon: I-78 east between exit 60 (Route 309) and exit 67 (Route 412), daytime eastbound lane restriction, Wednesday.

• Lower Saucon: I-78 west between exit 60 (Route 309) and exit 67 (Route 412), daytime westbound lane restriction, Thursday.

• Lower Saucon/City of Bethlehem, Williams: I-78 between exit 75 (to Route 611) and exit 67 (Route 412), daytime restrictions possible, Monday westbound, Tuesday eastbound.

Schuylkill County

•west Mahanoy Township: Route 209 between Carbon County Line and Tamaqua Borough, daytime lane restriction, Monday through Friday.

•Rush Township: Route 54 between Hometown and Lake Hauto, daytime lane restriction with flagging, Monday through Friday.

•Foster Township: I-81 south between exit 107 (Route 209) and exit 112 (Route 25), daytime southbound lane restriction, Monday.

• McAdoo Borough: Route 309 between Kelayres Road and Haddock Road, 24 hour restrictions beginning April 3.
