To all professional licensees: Be aware that you will no longer be able to renew your professional license by mail through the Pennsylvania Bureau of Professional and Occupational Affairs. It will all have to be done online.

I contacted the Pennsylvania State Department and the governor’s office, and I stated that I don’t have or use a computer. I was informed that if you want your license, you have to go online. I pointed out that with all the computer hacking and stealing of personal information such as credit card information, many people do not wish to use computers. Both state and governor’s offices told me they do not care.

I guess this is another way Gov. Tom Wolf can cut costs and skim more money for our overpaid schoolteachers at the inconvenience of the taxpayer.
