Hadassah Frey, a junior at Panther Valley Junior/Senior High School, will compete at the Future Business Leaders of America National Leadership Conference this summer in San Antonio.

Hadassah placed eighth at the State Leadership Conference in Hershey in April and did not automatically advance to nationals, but a spot opened in her event and she has been given the opportunity to compete in the client service event.

Frey is only the second Panther Valley student to attend the National Competition.

Hadassah and FBLA adviser Susan Solt will be attending the weeklong competition from June 27 through July 3.

They have been holding various fundraisers and have raised $1,060 of the $4,346 toward the cost for the trip, but are looking to the community for help as the school district does not provide any financial assistance.
