Palmerton Police Department reported the following incidents:

DUI: Jay Zelinsky, 47, Palmerton, was charged with four counts of DUI, three counts of driving under suspension, careless driving, turning movements and required signals, for an incident March 24 in the 900 block of Mauch Chunk Road.

Matthew Strohl, 31, Summit Hill, was charged with four counts of DUI, possession of a small amount of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and prohibited offensive weapons, for an incident May 26 at Delaware Avenue and Second Street.

Donald Zarillo, 33, Palmerton, was charged with DUI and turning movements and required signals, for an incident June 15 on Route 248 east.

Ashley Thomas, 31, Lehighton, was charged with DUI, display of registration plate and careless driving, for an incident May 10 in the 900 block of Mauch Chunk Road.

Possession of drug paraphernalia: Chad Stamm, 38, Watsontown, was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving under suspension, and drivers required to be licensed, for an incident July 14 at Delaware Avenue and Route 248.

Harassment: Harry Johnson, 72, and Michael Coulson, 52, both of Palmerton, were charged with false alarms to agency of public safety and harassment, for an incident Mach 31 in the 300 block of Lehigh Avenue.

Citations: Police also issued three citations for vehicle violations and one for bonfire and rubbish fires prohibited.
