The next meeting of the Nesquehoning Historical Society will be held at 6 p.m. on Tuesday at the society’s new location in the former Nesquehoning Baptist Church at the corner of Ratcliff and West Railroad streets.

The special speaker will be Dale Freudenberger, president of the Tamaqua Historical Society. He will be sharing the story of how the Tamaqua Historical Society grew and developed.

Light refreshments will be provided. All meetings are open to the public.

For those who would like to officially join the Nesquehoning Historical Society, the dues are $10 per year. Payment can be made at the meeting.

For those who are unable to attend the meeting, but would still like to support the mission of the Nesquehoning Historical Society, dues may be mailed by check or money order to the Nesquehoning Historical Society, c/o Nesquehoning Borough Building, 114 W. Catawissa St., Nesquehoning, PA 18240.
