McAdoo man harasses police

A disturbance at an apartment on South Kennedy Drive in McAdoo on Jan. 25 resulted in charges for Thomas Kepp, 64.

Police were called to the area at 1:35 a.m. and found Kepp in a highly intoxicated state. Police said he smelled strongly of an alcoholic beverage and was hard to understand as he was slurring his words.

Police spoke with Kepp, who then shut his apartment door on them.

Officers went to the common area to speak with others. Kepp left his apartment, highly agitated and began cursing and yelling. He eventually had to be restrained and was charged with public drunkenness and harassment.
