Toys for Tots final registration

The final two days to register children for the Toys for Tots campaign will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday and Saturday. It will be held at the Salem Bible Fellowship Church, 1105 Frederick’s Grove Road, Lehighton. The age limit is 14 years, and 16 for handicapped children.

You must visit the location to register as no information will be taken over the phone.

Class Christmas luncheons

Members of the 1965 class of Jim Thorpe Area High School will enjoy their Christmas party at noon on Dec. 14 at Dom & Ali’s Restaurant, Route 903. Those planning to attend should bring an item for the Carbon County Food Pantry. They could include paper products Dec. 20. Members planning to attend are to note the change of location for this affair.

This year, the group will be making a donation to the Carbon County Special Olympics. There will be the pictorial display of photos of this year’s gatherings.

Members will be voting on their best photo, by donating a quarter or more for their favorite selection.

Caroling will also be enjoyed by the group.
