The Jim Thorpe Police Department, along with the state Attorney General’s Office, Bureau of Narcotics Investigation and Drug Control, announced the arrest of two borough residents on drug charges.

Police said Christopher N. Evans, 25, of the 400 block of Center Street, is charged with possession of a controlled substance (heroin), and Dan Skrimcovsky, 31, of the 800 block of Center Street, is charged with possession of a controlled substance (heroin) and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Their arrests occurred on Sept. 28 in the 400 block of Fern Street.
