A fast moving fire Saturday night destroyed a home northeast of Bartonsville.

Fire companies from throughout Monroe County raced to the scene at 138 Ryan Drive in the Crestwood development.

Due to remote location of the scene water had to be tanked into the site shutting down all nearby roadways. Injuries are unknown.
