A Nesquehoning police patrol car sustained serious damage after it was involved in a crash.

The incident happened just before 3 p.m. near the intersection of Ratcliff and West High streets.

Police Chief Michael Weaver said on scent that he was waiting on state police to arrive to investigate and didn’t have many details on how the crash occurred.

All air bags on both sides of the vehicle were deployed in the crash.
