St. John Neumann brings history to life

Shania Twain, Neil Armstrong and good old Abe Lincoln himself were among the various people from history who converged on St. John Neumann Regional School this week.

While they may have looked the part, it was merely students from the school’s Palmerton campus who portrayed the famous people as part of its wax museum exhibit.

The Madame McLaughlin’s Wax Museum was presented on Tuesday by the school’s seventh- and eighth-grade class inside the school gymnasium.

Along with Twain, played by Kaylee Schoenberger, Armstrong, played by Nathaniel Angstadt, and Lincoln, played by Carter Eschbach, other students spoke of the virtues of other famous people.

They included Sophia Papay as Jennifer Aniston, Anna Keer as Molly Ringwald, Victoria Walck as Stevie Nicks, Bianca Negron as Marlene Dietrich, Shane Moyer as Frank Sinatra, Daniel Slowik as Werner Heisenberg, Catherine Herr as Amelia Earhart, Ashlynn Angstadt as Vivien Leigh, Alexis Berger as Florence Nightingale, Kai Lectora as Queen Victoria, Daphne Gowin as Elizabeth Hamilton, and Carleen Johnson as Jane Austen.
