Golden Agers

The Panther Valley Golden Agers met on July 11 with 25 members in attendance. President Diane Gould opened the meeting with the reading “Our Precious Savior.”

Three new members were welcomed by the group: Eve Lamest, Georgine Benek and Ann Zuber. A warm welcome was offered to returning members Elizabeth Marek and Sue Malish.

The group meets the second and fourth Monday of the month at 1 p.m. at the St. Ann Senior Apartments, Lansford.

Anyone 55 and older is invited to attend.

PV Class of 1977

The Panther Valley Class of 1977 will hold a 45th year get-together on Oct. 1 at Basile’s Italian Restaurant in Hometown from 4-7 p.m.

The event is a buy your own food and drinks. If you plan to attend, please contact Rick Morgans at 570-778-2492 or reach out to Nancy Watto Kerestus on Facebook by Sept. 20. A count is needed, so let us know as soon as possible.
