Road closures will begin today for the ongoing Route 309 McAdoo construction project

The moving closures will begin between the 8th and 9th streets and will continue south in two-block stages. This stage of construction will continue until November 2020.

As part of this project, through truck traffic is being detoured around the borough utilizing Interstate 81 at Exit 138 to Route 424 at Exit 141 to Route 309. Local deliveries are not prohibited.

Passenger vehicles will detour will on Kelayres Road and Blaine Street. Please use caution.
