October 17, 1964 — Joe Sweeney runs for two touchdowns and Charlie Williams throws for two others as Panther Valley rolls to a 46-0 victory over Schuylkill Haven. Sweeney breaks free for TD runs of 57 and 55 yards, helping the Panthers total 349 yards on the ground. Williams connects with Stan Bankus on a 35-yard scoring toss, and also hits Len Fredericks with a 7-yard TD pass. PV, coached by Rich Davidyock, also receives scoring runs of 10 yards from Minnie Goida and seven yards from Mike Winsko. On defense, Gary Druss intercepts three Haven passes.
