Tamaqua police are investigating several reports of a suspicious vehicle on Owl Creek Road on April 12.

One resident reported seeing a red Ford pickup driving slowly back and forth in front of her home, seven or eight times in a short period of time.Another resident reported a red Ford pickup, an older model with off road roof lights, parked in front of a home at 2:02 a.m. Two white males, wearing dark clothing, were standing outside the truck. When the homeowner turned on the outside lights the two men quickly got back in the truck and drove west toward Route 309.Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to call police at 570-668-5000.
