Edward Nesgoda, 46, of Tamaqua, has been charged with violating a protection from abuse order by Rush Township police.

Nesgoda is currently jailed in the Schuylkill County Prison in Pottsville, on charges of simple assault, making terroristic threats, disorderly conduct and harassment from a June 6 incident in Rush.The new charges were filed after Nesgoda wrote a letter to the victim of the earlier incident.
