Published January 06. 2014 05:00PM

Two vehicles were damaged and required towing from the scene of a rear-end collision at 4:28 p.m. Dec. 11 at the intersection of Route 209 and Harrity Road in Polk Township.

State police at the Lehighton barracks said a vehicle driven by Carol R. Serfass, 73, of Sciota, traveling northbound on Route 209, failed to stop for a vehicle in front of it and crashed into the back end of that vehicle, which was operated by Patricia A. Cambria, 50, of Kunkletown.

No one was injured in the mishap.
