State police at Fern Ridge reported investigating a two vehicle crash about 3:24 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 31, along Pennell Road, in Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County.

Troopers said John C. Osinski, 23, of Saylorsburg, northbound and David I. Goldrich, 43, of Jersey City, N.J., were both southbound. Troopers said Osinski failed to negotiate a right downhill curve and lost control of his 2011 Ford Escape and traveled into the southbound lane where it collided with Goldrich's 1999 Ford Explorer.

Neither driver was injured. A passenger with Goldrich, Toni M. Wilczewski, 37, also of Jersey City, sustained a minor injury and was taken to the Pocono Medical Center, East Stroudsburg, by West End ambulance.

Damages were disabling to the Explorer. Troopers cited Osinski for driving on roadways laned for traffic.
