A Tamaqua man vacationing in Florida disarmed and captured a would-be robber in Miami, Fla. and held him until police arrived. Robert Edward White of Massachusetts forced his way into the home at 1123 SW 13th Ave., where Augustus Rice Jr. is visiting, and said, "This is a hold-up." The Tamaqua man knocked the bandit to the floor, grabbed his .36 caliber revolver, and hurled it back into the house. Rice told officers he had $3,000 in cash in the house, but put it in the bank the yesterday.
