Schuylkill man facing charges

A Schuylkill County man is facing charges following an incident that occurred on Wednesday, Aug. 14.

State police at Frackville said Thomas Alshefski, 27, of Shenandoah, entered the home of Peter Delaurentis, 42, of 204 Florida Ave., Shenandoah, West Mahanoy Township, about 4:20 a.m. without permission of the owner. Alshefski was found inside the home by Delaurentis, who then fled on foot.

An arrest warrant for Alshefski has been issued for criminal trespass, troopers said. Anyone who knows the whereabouts of Alshefski is asked to call the barracks at (570) 874-5300.
