No one was injured in a two-vehicle crash that occurred about 2:32 p.m. on Tuesday, April 2, along SR443 (Long Run Road), in North Manheim Township, Schuylkill County.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said a 17-year-old male from Schuylkill Haven, was driving a 1997 Jeep Wrangler westbound and slowing down for a vehicle in front of him which was turning left into a local business. Matthew R. Taylor, 20, of Orwigsburg, driving a 2006 GMC envoy, was behind the teen, and failed to observe him slowing down.

The front of the envoy hit the rear of the Jeep. Troopers said Taylor was cited for driving a vehicle at an (un) safe speed.
