Join park naturalist for a basic kayaking course at Tuscarora State Park. Kayaks, paddles and personal flotation devices will be provided. Maximum weight capacity is 275 lbs. Registration is required by signing up at the; ark office before the event by calling 570-467-2506 or by person. No online or fax registrations will be taken. Each participant can send a donation check of $15 made payable to PA parks and Forests Foundation or $15 cash to the park office to hold your reservation. The class will be canceled in case of inclement weather. There is limited space for the program. Those with their own equipment, may join for $5 a person. Meet at the old life guard shack located on the beach. Each child must be accompanied by an adult and be 12 years or older.

Class dates and times are, 2 p.m. June 9; 5 p.m. June 22; 5 p.m. June 29; and 10 a.m. July 4.
