Contractors with Peter J. Radocha and Sons Inc. of Coaldale spent the last two days razing 215 West Spruce Street in Tamaqua. The dilapidated property was purchased by neighbor Mark Bower to extend his property. Bower, who is also the fire chief of the South Ward Fire Company, held a live RIT and firefighter training exercise in the home a day prior to its demolition.
