November 30, 1982 Derrick Fatzinger registers a double-double and steals an inbounds pass with four seconds left in regulation to allow Northern Lehigh to gain a 54-51 win over Jim Thorpe. Fatzinger hits for 13 points and pulls down 11 rebounds. With his team up by one point and the Olympians in possession, he steals the ball and then converts both free throws to secure the victory. The Bulldogs, coached by Glenn Rissmiller, receive a game-high 16 points from Larry Arndt and 12 from Brian Minnich. Dave Zurn tops JT with 13 points.
