The vehicle then went onto the berm into the parking lot of the Joliett Fire Company.

The vehicle then re-entered the southbound lane and traveled about 94 feet. The vehicle then left the road again and traveled about 24 feet before striking a road sign. After impact with the sign the car continued in a northwest direction for about six more feet before striking a fire plug and a private property sign.

The vehicle then continued about 54 feet before striking a tree and a large rock. The driver then fled the scene.

Troopers said the incident occurred sometime between 8:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 18, and 10 a.m. on Sunday.

Troopers investigated a crash about 6:25 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 20, along SR901 in Branch Township. Troopers said Patrick J. Medley, 26, of Pottsville, was driving a 1991 BMW 318 westbound and turning left to go south on SR209 while Dorothy Brennan, 69, of Pottsville, driving a 2000 Subaru Legacy, was eastbound.

Troopers said Medley turned into the path of Brennan and a collision occurred. Troopers said Brennan was transported to the Schuylkill Medical Center-S.
