St Jerome holds second annual 5 K Run/Walk

The St Jerome Regional School held its Second Annual 5 K Run/Walk in Hometown on Saturday. The course, which starting and ending at the Marian High School track field, winded its way through parts of Hometown and Barnesville. St Jerome teacher Mary Dakosty stated the run/walk is held to promote healthy forms of fundraising. Dakosty also stated her high appreciation for all the volunteers, Marian High School, Hometown Fire Police and community sponsors for making their second annual run/walk a success. Key volunteers were Dakosty, Ann Gregoire, Pamela Ohl, Patti Inama, Lisa Lindenmuth and others. In addition to door prizes, food, and other free items, prizes and awards were given to top participants in varying categories.
