Carbon County Environmental Education Center will host a "nature hike" at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 22. Leave everything behind and spend time in the woods during this leisurely hike along our easy trails. The group will stop, look and listen ... taking in the quiet beauty of the center's trails.

As Ralph Waldo Emerson said, "Adopt the pace of nature: her secret is patience." All ages welcome along easy walking trails.A $5 donation is suggested per person.The center is located at the west end of Mauch Chunk Lake Park, just outside of Jim Thorpe, along Lentz Trail.
