Carbon Salary Board makes several changes

The Carbon County Salary Board approved the following changes during its monthly meeting last Thursday. The changes are as follows:

Courts

• Establish the primary on-call rate of $45 per day covered by the AFSCME District Council 87, Local 2483, court appointed professional employees union, effective March 3.

Sheriff

• Change the rate of one deputy sheriff from $12.04 per hour, to $12.40 per hour, effective March 5.

• Change the rate of one part-time security officer from $10.71 per hour, to $11.03 per hour, effective April 5.

Area Agency on Aging

• Change the rate of one aging care manager II from $13.94 per hour, to $14.36 per hour, effective April 5.

Corrections

• Change the rate of one part-time corrections officer from $10.93 per hour, to $11.26 per hour, effective March 15.

• Change the rate of one part-time cook from $9.45 per hour, to $9.73 per hour, effective March 15.

Planning and Development

• Change the salary of one assistant director from $43,880.20 per year, to $34,634.60 per year, effective March 3.

Tax Assessment

• Change the rate of one assistant chief assessor from $14.79 per hour, to $15.23 per hour, effective April 5.
