Pinnacle hike slated

Join naturalist Robin Tracey at 9 a.m. Monday, July 4 for a hike to the Pinnacle on the Appalachian Trail.

The hike is 10.5 miles in length and moderate in difficulty. Meet at the lower parking log in the Weiser Forest District, off Route 61 South in Port Clinton. There will be a car pool to the trailhead.The trail has great views of the forest and the overlook at the Pinnacle is breathtaking.Bring a bag lunch. Space is limited.This is a dog friendly hike but pets must be leashed and get along with other pets and people.Pre-registration is required by calling Robin at (570) 467-2506 or registering online at
