State police at Schuylkill Haven are investigating an aggravated assault incident involving a Schuylkill County employee.

Troopers said Nicole Lynn Neidlinger, 30, of Pottsville, who is employed with the county's Office of Children and Youth, was assaulted by a 17-year-old male from Cressona.The incident occurred about 11:05 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 8, at 55 River St., in Cressona. The teen is accused of pushing Neidlinger into a blunt square corner of a table causing bruising to her left thigh.The teen was taken into custody and placed in the Berks County Juvenile Detention Center pending a hearing before the Schuylkill County juvenile court.
