Beads galore and so much more.

Welcome to His and Hers, located at 632 Main Street in Slatington.

Owned by Suzanne Muir, the business held its grand opening earlier this month.

Things looked up right from the onset as Muir accepted a gift basket from Dan Stevens and Les Glanz on behalf of Northern Lehigh Future Focus.

Muir said the shop specializes in antiques, vintage and beading supplies.

"We have a little bit of everything," Muir said. "Mostly bead-weaving classes, painting classes, and we'll be painting Christmas balls and vases."

The shop currently offers classes Wednesdays from 5-7 p.m., and Sundays from noon to 3 p.m., said Muir, who added the first beading class will be held Sunday, Oct. 3.

"Our goal is to be open seven days, offer at least three classes per week, and to expand the beading area," she said. "I like this building because it has exposed brick; I like the look of it, the feel of it."

Those interested in the classes may stop in at the shop to sign up, or call 484-895-9783.

His and Hers is open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, and noon to 5 p.m. on Saturday.
