Palmerton girl missing

Published November 24. 2010 05:00PM

A Palmerton girl who was last seen in school on Monday remains missing.

Mackenzie Donovan, 15, of 40 Little Gap Road, was last seen by her parents at 6:30 a.m. Nov. 22.

Contacted this morning, Trooper Craig Dadurka of the state police at Lehighton, told the TIMES NEWS Donovan did report to school that morning, but never returned home.

Dadurka said her parents reported her missing Tuesday morning, and believe she may be in Allentown following an argument with the family.

"That's one of the common reasons why they leave," Dadurka said. "Hopefully, she'll just return today and we can squash this."

Anyone with information on Donovan's whereabouts may contact state police at Lehighton at (610) 377-4270.
