Frank Gustus reported a burglary at his barbershop at 114 W. Ridge St., Lansford.

The incident occurred sometime between Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning this week.Entry was made through the front door of the business. It appears the actor or actors attempted to pry the door open without any luck. The mail slot was then pried apart and entry was made.The inside of the building was ransacked and approximately $40 in change was removed. The surrounding area was checked and a pair of blue examination gloves was found across the street.Anyone with information or who may have seen the crime take place is asked to call the police department at (570) 645-5844.All calls will be kept confidential.Police remind residents to keep their car and house doors locked and to immediately report any unusual activity to police.
