Two Albrightsville men were arrested by state police at the Lehighton barracks after a vehicle stop at 8 p.m., Dec. 24 at the intersection of State Route 903 and Church Road in Penn Forest Township.

Police said Jonathan Edgar Montalvo, 22, the driver of the vehicle, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs while a passenger, Joseph Pepe, 21, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.The arrests came after police stopped the vehicle for an equipment violation.
