PV Public Library slates Dec. activities

Panther Valley Public Library has scheduled a sleighful of December activities. The library, at 117 E. Bertsch Street in Lansford, will offer Crafts for Kids from 4-6 p.m. on Wednesdays.

Dec. 8 will be Christmas card craft; Dec. 15 snowman craft; a Christmas party at the library will be held from 4-6 p.m. Dec. 22 and New Year's Eve hat craft will be on Dec. 29. Father Daniel Mathewson, Pastor of St. Mary's Russian Orthodox Greek Catholic Church, Coaldale will speak on Russian Christmas customs and traditions at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 16. On Dec. 19 at 6 p.m., the Lansford Historical Society Victorian Christmas Program/ Panther Valley Public Library will hold an Open House. Refreshments will be provided by both Historical Society and Panther Valley Public Library.
