Schuylkill County Court

A Tamaqua man had his probation revoked and was remanded to Schuylkill County Prison, in a ruling by Schuylkill County President Judge William E. Baldwin April 30.

David H. Hartranft

, 24, was arrested Feb. 14, 2018, by Pennsylvania State Police, Frackville, trooper Michael Pahira and charged with simple assault and harassment. On Sept. 28, 2018, through a negotiated guilty plea, Hartranft was given 24 months on probation on the charges. He is resentenced to serve 3-23 months on the simple assault charge.

On April 26, Judge Baldwin sentenced a Topton woman to a county prison term, and admitted other defendants into the ARD program.

Hayley E. Covine

, 20, was arrested May 24, 2018, by Tamaqua Police officer Thomas Rogers and charged with two counts of manufacture, delivery or possession with intent to manufacture or deliver. She was also charged with criminal use of a communications facility and intentional possession by a person not registered. Covine’s county prison sentence is 6 to 23 months, and she must pay $100 to the substance abuse education fund, $113 to a state lab, and $50 to the CJEA.

Wilking Rodriguez-Sanquintin

, 25, McAdoo, was arrested June 12, 2018, by McAdoo Police officer Steve Torres and charged with DUI/controlled substance. In addition to paying $500 to the county to defray the cost of ARD and $400 to Lehigh Valley Health Network, his costs total $250. He must also pay a $50 a month supervision fee, complete the Alcohol Highway Safety School and 2-3 months outpatient substance abuse counseling. He must perform 10 hours of community service.

Tyler M. Miller

, 19, New Ringgold, was arrested May 28, 2018, by Orwigsburg Police officer Tanner Noecker and charged with DUI/controlled substance and failure to keep right. In addition to paying $500 to the county to defray the cost of the ARD program and $400 to Lehigh Valley Health Network, his costs total $250. He must pay a $50 a month supervision fee, complete the Alcohol Highway Safety School and 2-3 months outpatient substance abuse counseling. He must perform 10 hours community service.

Joseph M. Stewart

, 22, Barnesville, was arrested Oct. 1, 2017, by Pennsylvania State Police trooper Matt Tonitus and charged with DUI/highest rate and DUI/general impairment. Stewart must pay $500 to the county to defray the cost of the ARD program, and $120 to the Lehigh Valley Health Network. Additional costs total $450. He must pay a $50 a month supervision fee. He must complete the Alcohol Highway Safety School and 2-3 months outpatient substance abuse counseling. He must perform 10 hours community service.

Wendy L. Bianco

, 40, McAdoo, was arrested July 17, 2018, by McAdoo Police officer Fred Lahovski and charged with tampering with physical evidence, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and driving while license suspended. Before participating in the ARD program, Bianco must serve 30 days to 6 months on the driving while license suspended charge, and $577 in fines and costs.

Once admitted into ARD, Bianco must pay $350 to the county to defray the cost of the ARD program and pay additional costs totaling $150. She must perform 10 hours community service and pay a $50 a month supervision fee.
