A Monroe County driver is facing charges following an incident that occurred about 10 a.m. on Sept. 21 at Greenview and VanBuskirk drives in Hamilton Township.

State police at Stroudsburg said troopers were providing traffic control for a downed telephone line when a 2015 Toyota, driven by Nancy L. Masters, 58, of Saylorsburg, passed by the patrol unit. She then drove toward telephone company employees. Police stopped her and she was found to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Drug possession charges were filed.
