Richard M. and Faye C. (Heffelfinger) Gross of Nis Hollow Estates, Lehighton, recently celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary. They were married Dec. 26, 1953, in Belfast at Richard’s home church, St. Luke’s U.C.C.

They have five children, 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Richard is the retired chief of police of East Penn Township, where he served 15 years. He was formerly involved in the trucking industry. Faye was a secretary for the former Carbon County Credit Bureau.
