Palmerton Police Department reported the following incidents:

Harassment:

Jason Goodpaster, 38, was charged with simple assault and harassment, for an incident Aug. 30 in the 300 block of Columbia Avenue.

Maximum gross weight:

Jose Miranda, 62, Summit, New Jersey; Jaime Velasco-Zapata, 59, Elizabeth, New Jersey; Scott Borchers, 44, Milford; and Keith Vanderyajt, 50, Albrightsville, were cited on Sept. 9 at Franklin Avenue and Mauch Chunk Road.

Ivan Gaviria, 24, Elizabeth, New Jersey; and Cody Estok-Diprima, 42, Newton, New Jersey, were cited for maximum gross weight, for an incident Sept. 12 in the 800 block of Mauch Chunk Road.

Police also issued two citations for traffic violations and three citations for vehicle violations.
