Credit defaults

The following actions were filed by credit card companies, or their collection agencies, for alleged defaults on credit card/loan accounts.

Cavalry SPV I, Valhalla, New Jersey, filed two actions as follows: Jason Dunbar, 185 Green Valley Drive, Palmerton, seeking $8,403.25; and Laura Konze, 264 Columbia Ave., Palmerton, seeking $4,940.57.

Midland Funding, San Diego, California, filed six actions as follows: Craig Fenoff II, 164 Tiffanie Lane, Lehighton, seeking $3,17.54; Kelly Dotter, 509 Third St., Palmerton, seeking $868.65; Christine Kropp, 48 Squirrel Trail, White Haven, seeking $1,305.87; Monica Miller, 226 E. Loan defaults

Americredit Financial Services Inc., 801 Cherry St., Fort Worth, Texas, filed three actions alleging the defendants default on motor vehicle purchase contracts.

The defendants and the amounts sought are Eileen Roberts, 41 Deer View Drive, Jim Thorpe, $12,678.72 and costs; Erika Moyer, 147 Main St., Parryville, $7,412.74 and costs; and Christina Gedling, 39 Stedman Ave., Lehighton, $7,523.78 and costs.

Auto crash suit

Michele K. Mauser, 226 Fern St., Jim Thorpe, by herself and on behalf of her minor daughter, filed a civil suit against Tracy L. Malaska, A116 Raspberry Drive, Jim Thorpe, over an automobile crash.

The suit alleges on July 28, 2016, the plaintiff was operating a motor vehicle along the 1100 block of North Street in Jim Thorpe, when the defendant ran a stop sign and collided into her vehicle. The suit states the minor, in a car seat, sustained injuries detailed in the suit, plus damages to the plaintiff’s vehicle. Sought are damages in excess of $75,000.
