Mertz caps Lehigh soccer career

Lehigh’s Sabrina Mertz recently apped a memorable collegiate soccer career.

In the forward’s final season with the Division 1 Mountain Hawks, Mertz scored a team-high five goals and added two assists as Lehigh advanced to the Patriot League championship game. Her biggest goal of the season came against Colgate in the Patriot League semifinals when she scored the game-winner in the 90th minute.

Mertz, a Northwestern High School graduate, leaves Lehigh with 16 goals and 11 assists. Her seven game-winning goals ranks first in program history.
