Times News area schools will be holding advanced ticket sales for their team’s upcoming state basketball playoff games.

Tickets for all games cost $6 for adults and $3 for students. There are no discounted tickets for senior citizens. All tickets cost $6 at the door.

JIM THORPE

The Jim Thorpe Area Athletic Department will be offering advanced ticket sales for the girls PIAA Class 4A playoff basketball game.

Tickets will be on sale at the high school through Thursday, from 8 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.

The Olympians will face Lansdale Catholic on Saturday at 5 p.m. at Martz Hall.

TAMAQUA

The Tamaqua Area Athletic Department will be selling advanced tickets for the girls PIAA Class 4A playoff basketball game.

Tickets will be on sale in the main office of the high school through Friday, from 8 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. The school benefits from pre-game sales.

The Blue Raiders will face Danville on Saturday at 4 p.m. at Shikellamy High School.

MARIAN

The Marian Athletic Department will be selling advanced tickets for the girls PIAA Class 2A playoff basketball game.

Tickets will be on sale in the high school office on Thursday and Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.

The Fillies will play Holy Cross on Saturday at 6 p.m. at Scranton High School.

WEATHERLY

The Weatherly Athletic Department will be selling advanced tickets for the girls PIAA Class 1A playoff basketball game.

Tickets are available through Friday from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. in the high school office.

The Wreckers will face The Christian Academy on Saturday at 5:30 p.m. at Pottstown High School.

PALMERTON

The Palmerton Athletic Department will be selling advanced tickets for the boys and girls PIAA Class 3A playoff basketball games.

Tickets will be on sale Thursday from 4-6 p.m. in the high school lobby.

The girls face Warrior Run on Friday at 5 p.m. at Williamsport, while the boys play Loyalsock on Saturday at 7 p.m., also at Williamsport.

NORTHWESTERN

The Northwestern Athletic Department will be offering advanced ticket sales for the boys PIAA Class 4A playoff basketball game.

Tickets will be on sale at the high school through Friday between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m.

The Tigers will play Lancaster Catholic on Friday at 7:30 p.m. at Conestoga Valley High School.
