Zellner competes in College Bowl

Brooke Zellner, Palmerton resident and Tamaqua High School graduate, was one of three students chosen from the Department of Kinesiology at the University of Rhode Island to compete in the College Bowl at the annual meeting of the New England chapter of the American College of Sports Medicine.

The College Bowl is a “Jeopardy” style event, and students answer two rounds of questions about topics related to exercise science. URI competed against 10 other teams from New England colleges and universities. While they did not emerge as the ultimate winners, the team did a great job representing URI and the Department of Kinesiology.
