A man was shot while hunting Saturday morning in Carbon county. The incident occurred just after 11 a.m. along the north shore of Beltzville Lake near Pohopoco Drive. The victim was extricated from the brush by members of the Franklin Township fire company. He was treated at the scene by Lehighton paramedics before being transported to a nearby trauma center. State police at Lehighton and the state game commission are investigating the incident.
