Borough police said Lindsey Jean Bales, 27, of 523 North St., Apt. 2A, was stopped while operating a 2007 Toyota Yaris along Lehigh Avenue, for a vehicle code violation.

She displayed signs of impairment and failed field sobriety tests, police said. She was placed under arrest for suspicion of DUI and taken to the Lehighton hospital for a blood test. The test revealed a .24 BAC.
