Published March 19. 2013 05:02PM

State police at the Fogelsville barracks said three persons were arrested in two separate shoplifting incidents on March 16 at the Wal-Mart store in Lower Macungie Township.

At 1 p.m., Kelly Marie Golen, 32, of Breinigsville, was cited for retail theft after she attempted to steal items valued at $85.03.

At 4:05 p.m., Heather MacGillivray, 32, and Donald MacGillivray, 29, both of Flemington, N.J., were cited. Police said it is alleged they removed the security device from a computer while in the store and then placed various other items in their cart and attempted to leave the store without paying for the items. Police said they were stopped by loss prevention personnel at the store, but they then fled to the vehicle and fled the scene. They were stopped and taken into custody on Interstate 78.
