Wires versus tractor trailers

Low hanging telephone, cable or power lines, are a constant headache for firefighters and law enforcement. Emergency officials routinely respond to fallen lines; most as a result of tractor trailers or weather. Officials stress not to touch the wires and to call 911 to report any fallen lines.
